30 Madden Street
30 Madden Street
Situated near one of the world’s most beautiful harbours, 30 Madden offers refined living in the heart of the new Wynyard Quarter Precinct.
The building’s considered design reflects the vibrant and diverse personality of the area, ensuring it is a harmonious addition to the mixed-use and inner-city neighbourhood.
30 Madden Street was a two-stage multi-unit residential apartment development. The development houses 153 apartments, townhouses, duplexes and commercial spaces of various sizes and configurations over five buildings.
With high quality finishings, each of the buildings have achieved a 7 Homestar rating. All apartments have been design to embrace the sun, views and close proximity to the water’s edge, and provide a high standard of living.
The development includes a series of elevated courtyard spaces for the use of all residents. Collaboration with the mana whenua has guided the selection of native planting species, and the integration of artwork on the façade of the building. The planting palette captures the connection to the coastal environment and reflects both the essence of the New Zealand context and the wider vision of ‘the garden’.
30 Madden was a collaboration between Willis Bond, Studio Pacific Architecture and LT McGuinness.
