[au]workshop designed this bike shelter to fit its historic context adjacent to the Colorado and Southern Railway freight depot now used as the City of Fort Collins Transfort bus system’s North Transit Station. We were inspired by details of the existing depot and by the wooden freight cars that once frequented it.

Our design for the securable enclosure includes stacked 2x4 crib walls at the north and south elevations and steel bar fencing on the east and west elevations that appear either solid or transparent depending on the viewing angle.
