About the Studio

Kıyı Grup Mimarlık is a multidisciplinary design studio that approaches architecture, interior architecture, and landscape design as a single, integrated system. From concept to execution, all projects are developed through a BIM-based 3D workflow, allowing precise coordination, strong spatial clarity, and consistent design quality across different scales and project types.

Project Overview

This project presents an architecture-focused exterior and garden design developed for a private residential villa.The primary objective was to strengthen the architectural identity of the building while treating the outdoor spaces as a natural extension of the architectural concept.

Architectural Approach

The architectural design is based on clear mass proportions, balanced façade composition, and a timeless material language.The two-storey structure is defined through strong roof lines and a controlled interplay of vertical and horizontal elements, allowing the architectural form to remain clear and readable.

Natural stone surfaces, light-toned plaster finishes, and warm wood textures contribute to a refined yet residential architectural character.

Facade & Material Language

The façade composition is shaped by deliberate material transitions that reinforce architectural rhythm and proportion.Large glazed surfaces establish a strong visual connection between interior and exterior spaces, while solid surfaces provide balance, privacy, and structural clarity.

All materials were selected to support durability, simplicity, and long-term architectural value.

Spatial Continuity

Outdoor circulation and usage areas are organized in alignment with the building’s architectural axes.Pedestrian paths, entrance sequences, and open-air living zones are positioned to enhance the perception of the building mass, maintaining architectural dominance within the site.

The exterior layout follows a controlled and minimal approach, ensuring the architecture remains the primary focus.

Landscape as a Supporting Element

Landscape design is approached as a complementary layer rather than a dominant feature.Planting composition, hardscape elements, and outdoor lighting are carefully arranged to follow the architectural geometry and scale of the building.

The landscape serves as a refined backdrop that frames and enhances the architectural expression.
