The control and maintenance center for Copenhagen's metro system is located in Ørestad. The center ensures that the metro trains on the M1 and M2 lines can safely transport locals and visitors around Copenhagen every day. The center houses a control room, power supply, workshops, and administrative facilities. With the increased capacity requirements for the metro lines and the addition of more trains, there has also been a need to expand the preparation center. PLH is also responsible for the design of the recent expansion.
