Weifang Food Valley

The Weifang Food Valley master plan seeks to bring together residential, commercial, entertainment, cultural and artistic elements to create a sustainability-focused new district. The goal is to create an international food center for research and development, food production and processing, and trade.

Already an important site of food production and connected industry, Weifang’s new Food Valley district will adjoin the existing downtown district. The plan introduces green building practices to the region and will create an eco-friendly design, open public places and will enhance land value.
