Concept Development :

The design concept was inspired by a warm, contemporary interpretation of vernacular architecture, focusing on natural materials, earthy tones, and balanced symmetry. The goal was to create a calm, inviting atmosphere that reflects cultural identity while maintaining a modern aesthetic.

The fireplace was designed as a flexible feature that adapts to seasonal use. During summer, it can be fully closed and covered, allowing the seating layout to remain continuous and functional, with the rug extending over the fireplace area to maintain a cohesive majlis arrangement.

Material & Texture Selection :

Natural wood, soft textiles, and handcrafted details were selected to add depth and warmth to the interior. Layering textures played a key role in enhancing the sensory experience and reinforcing the overall concept.

Lighting Design:

Layered lighting was incorporated to create depth and ambiance, combining decorative pendants with soft ambient lighting. The lighting strategy enhances architectural details and reinforces the warm atmosphere.
