Courtyard House

There were two primary goals for this ground-up construction: Design a home with a seamless indoor-outdoor connection, and add a courtyard, which one of the owners remembered fondly from his childhood. In the finished home, three wings and pavilions come together, delineating a courtyard with a whimsical fountain at its center. A gracious double-height library is the heart of this home, set among a series of versatile living spaces, both indoors and out.
