Three former warehouses were transformed into retail spaces, creative loft offices, gourmet dining and an upscale bowling alley.

ai3 set out to show how historic buildings are an important and necessary part of the urban fabric, proving that new and old can create dynamic work and play experiences tailored to how we live today.

A strong sense of connection to community is key.

ai3’s design nurtures interaction by incorporating openness and transparency along the pedestrian edge.

The Stockyards is located in the heart of Atlanta’s West Midtown, one of the Southeast’s top dining and retail destinations.

It represents one of the last remaining historic properties to be redeveloped in the area which includes the Brickworks and Midtown West, Star Provisions, White Provisions, The Goat Farm and King Plow Arts Center.
