Mixed use renovation and addition to the historic Hastings Building in downtown Amherst, currently in construction.

The first floor of the existing building has been renovated into the Amherst College store. Renovations to the upper floors and a major addition at the rear will create 22 apartment units tucked behind the historic building.

The design of the new addition is intended to frame and highlight the historic structure. The unit mix ranges from 2-bedroom units to 4-bedroom units. The five-story addition is approximately 28,500 sqft.
