Wonderful Urban Estate in Aurora

A common misconception is that luxury always has to be ultra glossy, modern or over the top with ornate details. Luxury is better described as high level finishes that are designed with the ultimate ease of living and well thought out details. This "project name" was a prime example. A beautifully curated home tucked into an urban area that begged for luxurious finishes and design that would create a functional space for this busy family. We were able to take an existing floor plan that, although large and opulent, was not functional, lacked storage and detail. The kitchen received an extra island so that there was space for the kids to sit at, as well as providing more storage and entertaining space for company. The working island was also given an overhaul in adding a large workstation sink, multiple garbage disposal areas and extra storage for supplies. Face framed cabinetry, Panel ready appliances, Appliance garages, Quartz backsplashes, brass rail decorative storage and a micro-cement range hood all added the design details that will also stand the test of time.

The primary bathroom received a facelift and brought it out of the early 90's and into the new century. Although the space was large, it lacked functional storage, flow, and luxury. The heated floor was upgraded, allowing the heat to travel into the shower floor, bench, back-area for the ultra steam shower spa experience. A laundry unit for clothing and extra storage was added along with a custom vanity and wall mounted faucets. Layers of texture and lighting were brought in to create the spa-like feel of this beautiful space. The curved arch of the shower entry softens all the tile finishes in the bathroom, as well as the texture of the chandelier over the tub, nestled into the bay area.
