Apparition

Timings: November — December 2025 Position: lead project architect. Bureau: TERRACODE.

Responsibilities: development of architectural design solutions, development of the master plan of the territory, selection of factory-made small architectural forms, 3d modeling, creation of  graphic materials, visualization.

Software used: SketchUp + Enscape, AutoCad, Adobe Photoshop, Figma.

The core philosophy of the project is the creation of an immersive recreational environment within a forest park setting near the village of Blaznovo, where the ecological principle of minimal intervention is combined with a site-specific narrative rooted in toponymy and the spirit of place. A biocentric design approach plays a key role: all spatial interventions are indended to the preservation and articulation of the existing natural framework. Landscape elements and small architectural forms (SAF) feature organic, amorphous geometries, which are seamlessly integrated into the natural topography, and employ a natural material and color palette obtained from the surrounding landscape.

The project title references the historical semantics of the village name Blaznovo, traditionally associated with the notion of “apparition” or “illusion.” The space is interpreted as a territory of subtle cues, discovery, and dialogue with the imagination, encouraging sensory perception and contemplative interaction with the environment.
