To the origins

Timings: March — May 2025 Position: lead project architect. Bureau: YO Architects.

Responsibilities: development of architectural design solutions, development of the master plan of the territory, selection of factory-made small architectural forms, creation of custom-made small architectural forms, 3d modeling, creation of  graphic materials, partial visualization.

Software used: SketchUp + Enscape, AutoCad, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign.

This project is a winner of the 10th All-Russian Competition for the Best Projects Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment. Commissioning planned to 2027.

Urban planning context

The project site is located in the central part of the village of Krivtsovo-Plota, along the main street, in close proximity to the key local points of attraction: the school, stadium, sports club, Victory Park, the Church of Archangel Michael, and the mass grave memorial. The territory functions as a major intersection of the village’s primary streets, forming a connective node that links all existing centers of activity.

The newly designed public space is intended to perform an event-oriented function during religious holidays, as well as a supportive recreational role during village-wide events held on larger nearby sites. The area provides recreational opportunities, informal social interaction, and the temporary placement of field kitchens and tents serving tea and baked goods — a long-standing local tradition during festive occasions.
