项目背景

Project Background

项目位于成都麓湖雅州路 A7 商业街区。作为一条全新开街的城市界面，建筑与景观设计已整体完成，一层店铺外侧形成连续的公共空间。受消防登高面要求影响，建筑前方留出了一条长约150米、宽15米的线性空间。除既有景观设计中设置的种植池外，该空间在建成初期呈现出尺度偏大、使用指向不明确、缺乏可停留设施与绿植的问题。

The project is located within the A7 commercial district along Yazhou Road in Luxelakes, Chengdu. As a newly opened urban frontage, the architectural and landscape framework of the site has already been completed, forming a continuous public space along the ground-floor shopfronts. Due to fire access and emergency rescue requirements, a linear open space approximately 150 meters long and 15 meters wide was reserved in front of the buildings. Apart from the planting beds incorporated in the original landscape design, the space initially presented challenges typical of newly completed plazas: an oversized scale, unclear patterns of use, and a lack of facilities for staying as well as greenery.

在这一背景下，阿发奇实验室策划并发起了「桌桌计划 2.0」，希望在公共空间中引入一套具备趣味性、可移动、可组合并带有绿意的城市家具与装置系统。整体策划由多组设计团队协同完成，共分为四个板块：公共家具、市集摊位、游戏桌桌与机巧装置，分别承担不同的空间角色。其中，行波工作室负责公共家具与市集摊位的设计。

In response, a7CreatorLab initiated and curated Table Table Project 2.0, proposing a system of urban furniture and installations that are playful, movable, combinable, and integrated with planting, in order to introduce more diverse uses into the public realm. The overall strategy was developed collaboratively by multiple design teams and structured around four components: public furniture, pop-up stores, game tables, and kinetic installations, each assuming a distinct spatial role. XBTW OFFICE was responsible for the design of the public furniture and the pop-up stores.

线性广场根据使用需求被划分为五个组团。其中，游戏桌桌（由Atelier OJO设计）与机巧装置（由机巧屋设计）作为空间锚点，公共家具与市集摊位则与现状景观树池共同构成场地的基础框架。市集摊位作为首层店铺的户外延伸，为场地引入商业活动与人流；公共家具通过形式与尺度的变化，定义了空间的节奏，并创造出多样的互动与停留方式。

The linear plaza was organized into five clusters according to functional needs. Among them, the game tables (designed by Atelier OJO) and the kinetic installations (designed by Ji Qiao Wu) act as spatial anchors, while the public furniture and pop-up stores, together with the existing planters, establish the underlying spatial framework of the site. The pop-up stores extend the activities of the ground-floor shops into the public space, introducing commercial energy and pedestrian flow. Meanwhile, the public furniture defines the rhythm of the plaza through variations in form and scale, creating multiple ways for people to interact with the space and linger.

Public Furniture

公共家具并未被视为单一功能的桌子或座椅，而是尝试建立人、植物与桌子之间的多种互动关系。桌子的形态被设想为蜿蜒展开的河流，通过高度与宽度的变化，引导不同的使用方式。桌脚处的石材与桌面上的植物点缀其间，人们在行走与停留之中，与它们不期而遇。

Rather than being conceived as single-purpose tables or seating, the public furniture explores a range of interactions among people, plants, and tables. The tables are imagined as a meandering river unfolding through the site, with shifts in height and width guiding different modes of use. Stones at the base of the tables and plants embedded within the tabletops are distributed throughout the system, encountered unexpectedly as people move through the space or pause along the way.

与固定的户外公共家具不同，桌子的模块化设计从项目初期即被作为重要前提加以考虑，以适应多场景使用。桌子的平面模块主要分为两大类：一类通过在桌面上开洞来容纳植物生长与人的使用，构成自然而有机的桌面形态；另一类为细长的桌面模块，灯具与修剪成几何形的植物均匀出现，多个模块拼接后形成更为规则的节律关系。不同尺寸与形状的模块组合后产生多样的节奏变化，与周围环境呼应。在项目的实施阶段，设计根据现场景观花池与店铺开业情况，也对桌子的组团方式进行了更加灵活的布置。

Unlike fixed outdoor furniture, modularity was established as a key premise from the outset of the project in order to accommodate a variety of scenarios. The planar table modules fall into two primary types. One type introduces openings in the tabletop to accommodate both plant growth and human use, resulting in a more natural and organic tabletop configuration. The other type consists of slender linear modules, in which lighting fixtures and geometrically trimmed spherical and conical plants appear at regular intervals; when assembled, these modules generate a more ordered and rhythmic composition. By combining modules of different sizes and forms, the system produces varied spatial rhythms that respond to the surrounding environment. During the implementation phase, the arrangement of table groupings was further adjusted in response to on - site planting beds and the opening conditions of the shops.

Structurally, the public furniture adopts a steel framework, with tabletops made of solid teak slats to introduce a warm tactile quality suited to outdoor use. The table legs are composed of multiple slender rods and diagonal bracing, refined through several rounds of prototyping and testing to achieve a support system that is both stable and visually light.

市集摊位

Pop-up Stores

被拆分为棚架和售卖台的市集摊位，是一种灵活且高度压缩的功能单元。收起时，售卖台可被推入棚架之下，整体形态简洁克制；展开后，商家可根据不同售卖需求，自由组合售卖展架与台面，呈现多样而热闹的商业氛围。

The pop-up stores are conceived as flexible and highly compact functional units, composed of a frame structure and movable sales counters. When closed, the counters slide beneath the frame, resulting in a restrained and concise profile. When opened, vendors can freely combine display racks and tabletops according to their specific needs, creating a lively and adaptable commercial atmosphere.

The construction logic of the pop-up stores is based on single-person operation. The frame takes the form of an inverted V, bent from a single stainless-steel tube. A lightweight aluminum structure paired with white canvas forms a delicate roof-like canopy, operated via a hand-cranked steel cable system. This allows opening, adjustment, and storage to remain within a scale that can be comfortably handled by one person.

售卖台与置物架由海洋板构成，营造出温馨、日常的氛围。为增强市集摊位组团的趣味性，每组摊位均配套设置形态俏皮的“狗狗椅”，为游客提供停留与互动的可能。

The sales counters and storage elements are made of marine plywood, contributing to a warm and everyday character. To enhance the playfulness of the pop-up store clusters, each unit is accompanied by a “Puppy Seat,” offering visitors additional opportunities to stop, sit, and interact.

结语

Conclusion

作为桌桌计划 2.0 的一部分，本项目并未试图通过强烈的形式语言定义空间，而是通过一套可移动、可组合的公共家具与市集摊位，为线性广场提供了一种可被占用、可被调整的使用框架。设计在既定的建筑与景观条件下，回应日常生活中那些短暂停留、偶然相遇与自发使用的瞬间。

As part of Table Table Project 2.0, the project does not seek to define the space through a strong formal gesture. Instead, through a system of movable and combinable public furniture and pop-up stores, it provides the linear plaza with a framework that can be occupied, adjusted, and reinterpreted over time. Within the given architectural and landscape conditions, the design responds to the everyday moments of brief pauses, chance encounters, and spontaneous use that gradually bring public space to life.
