It’s not just a jewellery business, but one that’s inspired by the beneficial energy of natural minerals. Founded in 2019 by entrepreneur Elizaveta Kudriavtceva, Lindeza has taken its operations to the next level by setting up shop in Dubai. The company has secured a compact 75 sqm. (807 sq.ft.) ground floor unit at City Walk, a shopping centre in the city’s Al Wasl district. Instantly visible when entering the retail space, the chosen design codes are an extrapolation of crystal forms. The setting, created by architect Elena Lokastova, sees six columns, each one comprising two converging planes, resembling fragments of a giant mineral. Ceiling mirrors extrapolate the forms below, transforming the dimensions of the space into an alluring illusion—volumetric, four-faceted monoliths reminiscent of elongated octahedrons.

An elongated display, composed of two perpendicularly arranged triangular prisms takes centre stage. Its visual dynamic and complex geometry refers to Tetrahedrite, a mineral whose crystalline structure is formed by intersecting triangles. A second display case, built around the intersection of triangular volumes, continues this mineralogical theme. Reinforcing the design theme is the use of eucalyptus veneer which covers not only the wall panels, but also the aforementioned display. Adding a playful yet unapologetically feminine touch to the setting is an epoxy floor in a bold pink hue.
