这栋位于曼哈顿市中心的六层联排别墅由设计师 Sofía Beas（索菲亚·贝阿斯） 及其工作室 Studio Sofía Beas主导改造。她以色彩、材质与家具为线索，为原本理性克制的空间注入了更具情绪张力的设计语言，使住宅在当代语境中呈现出鲜明而个人化的气质。

This six-story townhouse located in the heart of Manhattan was renovated by designer Sofía Beas and her studio Studio Sofía Beas. She used color, materials and furniture as guiding elements, infusing the originally rational and restrained space with a more emotionally charged design language, making the residence present a distinct and personalized character in the contemporary context.

入口区域的墙面被涂刷成柔和的淡青绿色，视觉动线由此展开，引导人进入住宅内部；厨房则选用了 Farrow - Ball 的深红色调 “Eating Room Red”，并搭配由 Studio Sofía Beas 设计、在纽约本地制作的定制坐凳，使这一家庭核心空间呈现出温暖而开放的氛围。

The walls of the entrance area are painted in a soft pale green color, creating a visual flow that leads people into the interior of the residence. The kitchen features the deep red hue Eating Room Red from Farrow - Ball, and is complemented by a custom seating unit designed by Studio Sofía Beas and locally produced in New York, giving this familys central space a warm and open atmosphere.

餐厅中，Josef Hoffmann（约瑟夫·霍夫曼）设计的复古椅子与一张 1935 年代 Ernesto Valabrega（埃内斯托·瓦拉布雷加） 的旧桌并置出现，不同年代的设计在同一场景中形成对话。图书室的墙面以饱和的黄色铺陈，与内嵌式书架共同营造出轻松而富有活力的阅读空间；地下室则被涂成接近森林绿的深色调，并配置专业级放映设备，转化为一个私密而富有戏剧感的家庭影院。

In the restaurant, the retro chairs designed by Josef Hoffmann are placed side by side with an old table by Ernesto Valabrega from the 1930s. Designs from different eras form a dialogue in the same scene. The walls of the library are covered with a saturated yellow color, together with the built-in bookshelves, creating a relaxed and vibrant reading space; the basement is painted in a deep shade close to forest green and equipped with professional projection equipment, transforming into a private and dramatic home theater.

在家具层面，Beas深度介入设计过程。除了为项目定制的实木餐桌与多款坐凳，空间中还融入了 Enzo Mari（恩佐·玛里）、Max Lamb（马克斯·兰伯）、David Horan（大卫·霍兰） 等设计师的作品，以及从跳蚤市场中寻得的旧物件，使手工质感、现代设计与时间痕迹并置共存。

At the furniture level, Beas deeply involved in the design process. Besides the custom solid wood dining table and various seating benches for the project, the space also incorporates works by designers such as Enzo Mari, Max Lamb, and David Horan, as well as old items found in flea markets, allowing for the coexistence of handmade texture, modern design, and traces of time.

艺术收藏同样是空间构成的重要部分。Beas 为业主挑选了来自切尔西 Kurimanzutto 画廊的艺术作品，使墙面不再只是背景，而成为整体空间叙事的一部分，与室内的色彩与尺度关系形成呼应。

Art collection is also an important part of the spatial composition. Beas selected artworks from the Kurimanzutto gallery in Chelsea for the client, making the walls no longer just a background but an integral part of the overall spatial narrative, echoing the colors and scale of the interior.

这种对色彩与空间的敏感追溯至设计师的成长经历。Beas 在墨西哥长大，童年曾居住于由 Andrès Casillas de Alba（安德烈斯·卡西利亚斯·德·阿尔巴） 设计、深受 Luis Barragán（路易斯·巴拉甘） 建筑精神影响的住宅之中。如今，这段文化记忆被转译进纽约这座历史联排别墅的更新之中。

This sensitivity towards color and space can be traced back to the designers upbringing. Beas grew up in Mexico and spent his childhood in a residence designed by Andrés Casillas de Alba and deeply influenced by the architectural spirit of Luis Barragán. Now, this cultural memory has been translated into the renovation of this historic row house in New York.

Ultimately, the entire residence creates a layered spatial experience through its color scheme, furniture, and materials. Each level has a distinct spatial atmosphere and functional orientation, while also interacting with each other within the overall context, forming a contemporary dwelling that is both expressive and warm in its living atmosphere.
