Intro

The Kovo 11 Park project includes a variety of spaces dedicated to recreation, active leisure, interactive zones, children’s playgrounds, green areas, and park infrastructure. The park is functionally designed to ensure a harmonious link between different activities and spatial zones. Installed features such as children’s playgrounds, interactive play areas, a play labyrinth, and zones with swings and hammocks encourage physical activity and outdoor engagement. Additional landscaping and small architectural elements, such as pergolas, enhance both the visual appeal and overall comfort of the space.

场地背景

Site context

项目位于立陶宛考纳斯市格里丘皮斯（Gričiupis）区，坐落于涅穆纳斯河右岸。场地南侧为Dujotiekio街，东侧为Kovo 11街，北侧与西侧为Salų街，属于高密度建成区。周边建筑高度多样：东侧为 2–4 层建筑，包括Girstupis市场与Gričiupis游泳馆；西侧为12层公寓楼；南侧为2–3层独栋住宅；北侧为一栋5层公寓楼。最近的水体包括：东侧约1.1 公里的涅穆纳斯河、西南方向约0.66公里的Gričiupis溪流，以及约0.4公里的Girstupis溪流。

The project was implemented in the city of Kaunas, in the Gričiupis district, on the right bank of the Nemunas River. The area is bordered by Dujotiekio Street to the south, Kovo 11 Street to the east, and Salų Street to the north and west. The site is classified as a high-density built-up area. The surroundings include buildings of various heights: to the east – 2 to 4-storey buildings housing the Girstupis Market and Gričiupis swimming pool; to the west – 12-storey apartment buildings; to the south – 2 to 3-storey single-family houses; and to the north – a 5-storey apartment building. The nearest bodies of water are the Nemunas River (approximately 1.1 km to the east), the Gričiupis stream (about 0.66 km), and the Girstupis stream (about 0.4 km) to the southwest.

交通可达性

Transport Access

公园周边现有的停车位分布于场地外围，与周边住宅及商业建筑相邻，确保了良好的机动车可达性。东侧沿Kovo 11街设有现状自行车道，属于全长4.16公里的骑行线路的一部分。场地周边已形成完整的道路系统（B、C、D 级道路）。此外，公交车与无轨电车共用的公共交通站点位于场地东侧边缘。

Convenient accessibility is ensured by the existing car parking spaces around the park’s perimeter, next to residential and commercial buildings. On the eastern side, along Kovo 11 Street, there is an existing bicycle path – part of a 4.16 km route. The area is surrounded by an already established street network (categories B, C, and D). A transit public transport stop for both bus and trolleybus routes is located on the eastern edge of the site.

改造前状况

Previous condition

改造前的场地存在多项问题：缺乏休闲与儿童游乐空间，现有设施亟需改善；照明系统不足；步行路径系统及铺装材料不适宜舒适使用；灌木较少，绿化养护水平有待提升；缺乏无障碍通行条件以及供除雪车辆使用的安全通道；垃圾桶数量不足，无法满足使用需求。

The previous condition of the area revealed several key issues: There was a lack of recreational and children’s play areas, and the existing spaces required improvement. The lighting system was underdeveloped. The existing path network and surface materials were not suitable for comfortable use. The park had limited bushes and required improved maintenance of its existing green areas. Safe access for people with disabilities and snow removal vehicles was lacking. Additionally, the area did not have a sufficient number of waste bins.

Implemented Design Solutions

Kovo 11公园整体范围内的空间均完成了全面更新——基础设施焕新、功能得到提升，并营造出兼具美观性与多功能性的公共环境，以满足不同人群的使用需求。公园设有三处主要入口：南侧一处、东侧两处（通过台阶进入）；此外，西侧与北侧也增设了出入口。所有入口均与现有路径系统相衔接，便于通达儿童游乐区与主动活动区。

The entire territory of Kovo 11 Park has been fully upgraded — the infrastructure has been renewed, functionality improved, and a visually appealing, multifunctional environment has been created for various visitor activities. The park features three main entrances: one on the southern side and two on the eastern side, accessible via stairways. Additional entrances have been established on the western and northern sides. All entrances are integrated into the existing path network, ensuring convenient access to children’s playgrounds and active recreation zones.

南侧与东南侧入口附近设置了信息导览牌，步行路径及活动区域内配置了长椅与垃圾桶。沿步道及公园内部增植乔木与观赏性植物，形成连续的绿化景观。步行系统在设计上顺应既有线路，确保场地内通行的顺畅、安全与便捷。草坪得到修复，并新植树木与灌木；同时，新建照明系统依据路径规划与功能分区合理布置灯杆。

Informational stands are located near the southern and southeastern entrances. Benches and waste bins are installed along pedestrian paths and within active zones. Additionally, green areas with trees and decorative plantings have been established along the walkways and throughout the park. The pedestrian path system has been designed to align with existing routes, ensuring smooth, safe, and convenient movement throughout the territory. Lawns have been restored, and new trees and shrubs have been planted. A new lighting system has also been installed, with lighting poles positioned according to the planned path network and functional zoning.

儿童游乐区设计

Children’s Playground Design Solutions

Kovo 11公园内设置了多样化的儿童游乐与活动空间。北侧区域设有适合不同年龄段儿童的攀爬式游乐场，并配建一座自动化公共卫生间；其对面、跨越步道的位置，设置了一处迷宫式游乐区，采用不同形状与色彩的构件组合而成。公园中央区域规划了可供儿童戏水的喷泉、配有廊架的休憩空间，以及种植教育性植物的景观区。南侧则布置了互动游乐区、设有秋千与吊床的休息区、人造起伏地形以及地埋式蹦床。在西侧坡地区域，儿童可在橡胶铺地的攀岩墙上进行攀爬练习，增强身体协调与运动能力。

Kovo 11 Park features a variety of children’s play and recreational areas. A playground equipped with climbing structures for children of various age groups is located in the northern section of the park, along with an automated public restroom. Nearby, across a pathway, a labyrinth-style play area has been created, featuring colorful elements in different shapes and sizes. In the central area of the park, a fountain designed for children’s play, a relaxation zone with pergolas, and a planting area with educational plants. The southern part includes an interactive play zone, rest areas with swings and hammocks, artificial mounds, and in-ground trampolines. In the western slope area, children can practice their climbing skills on a climbing wall with a rubber surface.
