这座位于悉尼多佛高地(Dover Heights)悬崖边的海景别墅，由Studio George设计，灵感源自欧洲地中海的夏日氛围。屋主多次在地中海沿岸度假，希望将旅行记忆和独特体验延续到新家的每一处细节。外立面采用拱形与瓦屋顶设计，呼应西班牙南部的度假别墅及伊比萨(Ibiza)知名海滨度假村。室内空间同样融入地中海元素，以灰泥墙、裸露木梁和温暖自然色调营造舒适氛围，但家具与陈设则以现代精致设计为主，呈现温暖而不失时尚的家居气质。

This seaside villa located on the cliff of Dover Heights in Sydney was designed by Studio George, drawing inspiration from the summer atmosphere of the Mediterranean in Europe. The owner, who has vacationed along the Mediterranean coast many times, hopes to bring the memories and unique experiences of those trips to every detail of the new home. The exterior features arched designs and a tiled roof, echoing the vacation villas in southern Spain and the famous beach resorts in Ibiza. The interior space also incorporates Mediterranean elements, creating a comfortable atmosphere with stucco walls, exposed wooden beams and warm natural tones. However, the furniture and furnishings are mainly modern and sophisticated designs, presenting a warm yet fashionable home style.

别墅横跨三层，设有五间卧室、七间卫浴及多功能生活区，包括开放式客餐厅与厨房、家庭活动室和私人影院。白灰色墙面、木梁天花以及阳光淡化的中性色调营造宁静持久的空间感，石材细节既呼应地中海风格，也与太平洋沿岸景致相连。落地窗将海景与室内空间无缝衔接，模糊近景与远景界限，使住宅自然而然地融入周边自然环境。

The villa spans three floors and features five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a multi-functional living area, including an open-plan living and dining room with a kitchen, a family activity room and a private cinema. The white and grey walls, wooden beam ceilings and sun-softened neutral tones create a serene and enduring sense of space. The stone details echo the Mediterranean style while also connecting with the Pacific coastal scenery. Floor-to-ceiling windows seamlessly integrate the sea view with the interior space, blurring the boundaries between the foreground and the background, allowing the residence to blend naturally with the surrounding natural environment.

Design director and founder Sara Horvath emphasizes the importance of materials in creating the atmosphere of a space. She selects weathered limestone, stucco, and natural wood to convey authenticity and durability. The surfaces have a natural and soft touch in the sunlight, allowing the light to flow gently across every wall and stone during the day. The open layout of the living room, dining room, and kitchen strengthens the connection between the interior and exterior. The wooden beam ceiling and curved bar counter outline the space. Light-colored stones, warm woods, and soft neutral tones create a visual continuity. The arched doorways and built-in seats echo the organic forms of Ibiza, while the sculptural lamps and handwoven fabrics add a soft texture to the space.

设计过程从最初的视觉概念逐渐转向居住体验。Horvath(霍瓦斯)提出，通过光线、材质和空间布局体现生活的轻松与质感，使住宅不仅成为视觉享受，更是一处与海边日常紧密相连的感官空间。

The design process gradually shifted from the initial visual concept to the living experience. Horvath proposed that through the use of light, materials, and spatial layout, the ease and texture of life could be reflected, making the residence not only a visual delight but also a sensory space closely connected to daily life by the seaside.
