栖斯以 1.95 米高度为界，精准地对阁楼的体积进行规划，打造了一个高效且优雅的阁楼居所。

With 1.95 meters as the height boundary, QISI precisely planned the volume of the attic, creating an efficient and elegant attic residence.

该空间位于一个有着孟莎顶的独栋住宅的顶层。栖斯接受委托，将其改造成房主的私人空间。该空间要有完整的生活功能，包括睡眠、办公、简餐烹饪、大量衣物收纳以及卫浴设施。此外，男房主 1.9 米的身高对阁楼的空间尺度带来挑战。

Located on the top floor of a detached house with a Mansard roof, QISI was commissioned to transform it into the owner’s private space. The space was required to integrate complete living functions, including sleeping, working, light cooking, extensive clothing storage, and bathroom facilities. Furthermore, the male owner’s height of 1.9 meters posed challenges to the spatial scale of the attic.

栖斯将原始屋顶形态、男房主身高条件作为推动设计发展的关键因素。坡顶高度低于 1.95 米便无法正常通行，老虎窗的净高是 2.1 米，人能正常行走至窗边。这是空间规划的数据基础。原始屋顶的几何阵列节奏为空间个性提供载体。栖斯将低于 1.95 米的区域定义成“服务空间”，高于 1.95 米的区域则被定义成“被服务空间”。通过在“服务空间”内设置功能实体限制人通行、避免碰头。这些实体同时服务于周边，加强了各个区域的联系。空间整体开敞，旨在充分利用两侧窗口的采光和景观资源。

QISI took the original roof form and the male owner’s height as key factors driving the design. If the height of the sloped roof is below 1.95 meters, normal passage is not possible. The clear height of the dormer window is 2.1 meters, allowing people to walk normally to the window. These formed the data foundation for spatial planning. The geometric array rhythm of the original roof provided a carrier for the spatial character. QISI defined zones below 1.95 meters as “servant spaces” and those above 1.95 meters as “served spaces”. Functional volumes placed in the “servant spaces” restrict pedestrian access and prevent head injuries. At the same time, these volumes serve the surrounding areas, strengthening connections between different zones. The space is open, aiming to fully utilize natural lighting and landscape resources from windows on both sides.

占用面积较大的观影、睡眠区设置在较完整的中部空间。其他零散功能则设置在两侧。

The area with a larger area such as watching TV and sleeping are arranged in the relatively intact central space, while other scattered functions are placed on both sides.

南侧的“服务空间”布置低矮的功能，例如台面、矮柜、书桌等，在限制通行的同时最大贯通视线，优化采光。

The southern “servant spaces” accommodate low-height functions, including countertops, low cabinets, and desks, which restrict passage while maximizing sightlines and optimizing daylighting.

北侧的“服务空间”布置梳妆台、收纳柜，作为高密度收纳区。

老虎窗与各个功能区穿插布置，形成了具有节奏张力的空间形态。这一形态以空间原生条件为基础结合实际的功能需求整合而成，成为了该住宅的个性特征，也为居住人争得更大的可用面积和更好用的空间。

Dormer windows are interspersed with various functional zones, creating a spatial form with rhythmic. This configuration is integrated based on the original spatial conditions and practical functional demands, becoming the distinctive feature of the residence. It also provides the occupant a larger usable area and a more practical space.
