应对地域气候的避风港

A Haven Responding to Regional Climate

新潟县燕市与相邻的三条市共同作为日本著名的“金属加工之都”而闻名。地处日本海侧，冬季常年阴雨连绵或大雪封路，夏季则伴随高温多湿天气。该项目旨在回应市民长久以来的期待，打造一座室内全天候游乐设施，让孩子们无论在何种严酷的气候条件下，都能拥有一个安全、自由自在的活动空间。

Tsubame City in Niigata Prefecture, alongside its neighbor Sanjo City, is renowned as Japan’s premier “Metalworking Capital.” Located on the Sea of Japan coast, the region faces challenging weather: winters are defined by persistent rain or heavy snow, while summers often bring extreme heat. This project fulfills a long-held community desire for an all-weather indoor play facility, ensuring children have a safe, free, and energetic space to play regardless of the harsh seasonal conditions.

空间构架：成长的三部曲与空中连廊

Spatial Structure: A Trilogy of Growth and the Aerial Track

室内空间根据儿童的成长阶段逻辑清晰地划分为三大区域：“蹒跚学步区”、“茁壮成长区”与“欢畅游玩区”。为了打破楼层的界限，还在二层设计了一条蜿蜒起伏的环形走廊，将上下区域有机地环绕在内。

The interior is logically divided into three zones tailored to developmental stages: the “Toddler Zone”, the “Growth Zone,” and the “Active Play Zone.” To break down the boundaries between floors, a winding circular track was designed on the second level, organically encircling the large play areas below.

游乐区域覆盖了大面积的攀爬网，形成了一个若隐若现的互动界面。这种设计创造了一种“视线交织”的趣味性——网上的孩童俯瞰下方的活动，下方的孩子仰望上方孩童的身影，同时也确保了家长在任何角度都能追视到孩子的动态。

Large-scale climbing nets cover the play areas, creating a translucent interactive interface. This design fosters a playful “interweaving of perspectives”—children on the nets look down at the action below, while those on the ground look up, all while ensuring parents can keep a watchful eye on their children from any vantage point.

核心枢纽与包容性设计

Core Hub and Inclusive Design

建筑中心位置的“大家的广场”起到了交通枢纽的作用，同时也是一个休憩缓冲空间。其中心摆放着一座由实木雕刻而成的巨大甜甜圈型长凳。

At the heart of the building, the “Everyone’s Plaza” serves as a circulation hub and a buffer zone for relaxation. Its centerpiece is a massive, donut-shaped bench carved from solid wood.

这座长凳不仅是空间的视觉焦点，更体现了“包容性（Inclusive）”的设计理念：无论孩子是否有肢体障碍，都可以自由地在此攀爬、躺卧或穿行，象征着该设施对所有儿童的开放与关怀。

More than just a visual focal point, this bench embodies the concept of “Inclusive Design.” Regardless of physical ability, children can freely climb, lie down, or move through it, symbolizing the facility’s commitment to openness and care for every child.

与自然景观的对话

A Dialogue with the Natural Landscape

建筑的外观直接反映了内部三个不同规模的游乐空间，呈现在三座圆弧形穹顶上。这些起伏的线条与当地的弥彦山及国上山的脊线完美契合。通过这种形态表达让建筑与广袤的越后平原景观融为一体，成为了城市中一道与自然和谐共生的新地标。

The building’s exterior directly reflects the three play spaces of varying scales within, manifested as a series of continuous arched domes. These undulating lines resonate with the ridges of the local Mt. Yahiko and Mt. Kugami. Through this biomimetic form, the architecture integrates seamlessly with the vast Echigo Plain, standing as a new urban landmark in harmony with nature.
