Furniture Presentation (2026)
Sometimes you get tired of constantly working only on interiors. This product visualization project felt like a breath of fresh air. It was something completely new — something I’m not yet used to and not fully confident in. I got tremendous pleasure from creating these images.
There were two tasks. The first was to create visualizations on a white background, like studio photographs for a website. The second was to place the object into an interior.
It's the Leon Burl Wood Side Table by Crate&Barrel. I’m not sure if it’s still in production, but here are a few words about it.
The Leon side table keeps things simple with clean lines and a standout design that really lets the unique patterns of burl wood shine. The mappa burl veneer comes from natural growths on poplar trees and is known for its cool, bark-like look full of tight, decorative clusters. Inspired by vintage European furniture, the table has a six-legged design with wide slab legs that show off the wood’s one-of-a-kind grain. The legs connect at the edges to give the square top a floating, notched feel that’s unexpected and eye-catching. It's FSC ®-certified.
While creating the visualizations, I wanted to try styling the object in a Zara Home–inspired way. So I aimed to present both the “studio” visuals and the interior scenes as I see them. I hope you enjoy this project.
