ABOUT
Code Diskovery is a leading IT company specializing in the development of complex digital solutions. Since its foundation, the company has grown into a key provider of high-quality IT services for various industries. Its areas of expertise include airport operating systems (AOS), airport geoinformation systems,
IT solutions for tourism, a 1C competence center, and the implementation and support of enterprise management systems.
LOCATION
The office is located in the historical center of Moscow.
CONCEPT
The space was designed for an IT company working with airport infrastructure, including Sheremetyevo. At the same time, the client asked us to avoid direct references to aviation and instead create a calm, laconic, and uncluttered working environment.
The layout is circular, with a minimal number of corridors. All functional areas for work and rest are concentrated in the center, providing fast and intuitive access to every zone.
These central blocks are positioned in relation to areas with natural light, allowing daylight to penetrate deep into the office.
DESIGN
The office accommodates 110 workstations and includes kitchens with dining areas located in different blocks of the space. They are fully equipped for everyday use and offer both communal tables and more private seating options. The layout is visually structured and easy to navigate.
We defined two main cores that contain all service and auxiliary functions. This approach allowed us to place workstations along the building’s façades, close to natural light.
The central zones are separated from the open spaces by glass partitions, ensuring visual transparency and daylight penetration. Acoustic partitions are integrated into the workstations to balance collaboration and focused work.
The main recreation area is located beneath a glass dome. Designed as a multifunctional space, it features a semicircle of sofas and a large media screen, making it suitable for both relaxation and general meetings or presentations. The area is separated from the open space by metal chains that function as lightweight curtains
The reception area is built on contrast. Its central element is a green cube that welcomes visitors and serves as the primary focal point. It is visually opposed by a multimedia reception desk featuring the company’s logo.
We were interested in how a single place inside an office can influence a person’s role and state. A wall bar. TRX. Table tennis.
Productivity is often driven not only by motivation systems or professional skills. We believe that subtle, non-obvious spatial decisions can have a critical impact on companies and the people who work in them.
The office has kitchens and dining areas located in separate blocks. They are fully equipped for everyday use, with comfortable seating areas, both at a shared table and at private ones. The space is visually structured.
