Ultraconfidential has completed a workplace for Godrej Properties—a major Indian real estate developer—in Indirangar, Bangalore. Spanning 25,000 square feet, the project combines a sleek contemporary aesthetic with careful material design choices to deliver a space where wellbeing, efficiency and sustainability converge.
Located on the tenth floor, the office features expansive windows that allow for abundant daylight—reducing energy use while creating pleasant workspaces with views across the city. The design hosts the regional office of Godrej Properties, and is equipped with a range of spaces for private work and client interactions.
The floorplan itself has been designed for flexibility. The bright and open client room connects seamlessly to the larger sales lounge. Collapsible partitions from Dormakaba allow the lounge to shape shift according to need: it can transform from a large space used for workshops, presentations and events, to four intimate meeting rooms. Such adaptability ensures that the office design remains relevant over time: reducing the need for structural renovations and maximising the long-term utility of the space.
Sustainability and local context were central to the project, with materials and designers chosen for their aesthetic, functional, and environmental qualities. The specification includes EcoWorx carpet tiles, made from recycled plastic and designed for modularity, alongside Venzowood veneers crafted from responsibly-sourced trees. Hand-knotted rugs were created in partnership with artisan communities in Rajasthan, supporting traditional craft and local livelihoods, while furniture was selected from carbon-neutral companies such as Andreu World and Viccarbe for durability and low environmental impact.
The result is an inspiring and future-ready workplace where adaptable spaces, sustainable materials and local artistry come together.
