ПРО ОБ'ЄКТ

Ресторан «Супутник» - культове місце у Львові на території Стрийського парку. Модерністичну будівлю запроєктував львівський архітектор Анатолій Консулов. Початково збудований як кафе «Дитяче» у 1957 році у зв’язку із дитячою залізницею на території Стрийського парку. Сьогодні будівля значно перебудована. Масштабна реконструкція будівлі розпочалась в 1990-х роках, коли «Супутник» перейшов у власність приватних підприємців. Вони зберегли його функцію закладу харчування та назву, але трансформували його як архітектурний об’єкт.

ABOUT

The restaurant "Suputnyk" is a cult place in Lviv on the territory of Stryisky Park. The modernist building was designed by Lviv architect Anatoly Konsulov. Initially built as a cafe "Dytyache" in 1957 in connection with the children's railway on the territory of Stryisky Park. Today the building has been significantly rebuilt. A large-scale reconstruction of the building began in the 1990s, when "Suputnyk" became the ownership of private entrepreneurs. They preserved its function as a catering establishment and its name, but transformed it as an architectural object.

КОНЦЕПЦІЯ

Головна мета проєкту- повернути автентичний екстер’єр ресторану. Оскільки в архівах не збереглось фотографій інтер’єру 60-х років, було вирішено  поєднати сучасний дизайн з елементами вінтажних меблів часів модернізму. Назва ресторану «Супутник» сама надихнула на кольори та матеріали інтер’єру. Це метал, скло, білий, чорний та іноді червоний колір, якщо згадати радянські космічні супутники.Основну частину фасаду займає стрічкове скління, щоб об’єднати інтер’єр та природу Стрийського парку.

CONCEPT

The main goal of the project is to restore the authentic exterior of the restaurant. Since the archives do not have any photos of the interior from the 1960s, it was decided to combine modern design with elements of vintage furniture from the modernist era. The name of the restaurant "Suputnyk" itself inspired the colors and materials of the interior. These are metal, glass, white, black and sometimes red, if we recall the Soviet space satellites. The main part of the facade is occupied by strip glazing to unite the interior and the nature of Stryisky Park.
