The project for this 5-room apartment located in the Champ-de-Mars area, in the XII arrondissement of Paris, allows for a fresh perspective on the original architecture while preserving boundaries and zoning.Historically, the apartment features a separate guest area with a large dining table as the focal point of the composition. Historical architectural details and moldings have also been preserved in this area.The long entrance hall and corridor, characteristic of the historical era, have retained their original forms. The chosen finishing materials (natural stone, patinated bronze, natural oak veneer) and the decision to do without interior doors have added modernity and light to the space.The kitchen area stylistically supports the entrance, directing all attention to the bright living-dining area. The transformation of the kitchen has significantly increased its space. The pantry was removed, full-height cabinets were added, along with an island and an elongated work area along the window. Additionally, the work areas are positioned so that they are almost invisible from the dining room, which is important for the aesthetic perception of the space.​​​
