The house was conceived as a place for temporary country living with a focus on indoor activity. Country properties in this region are rarely characterized by cohesive and beautiful architecture. Therefore, our main task was not to blend into the surrounding environment, but rather the opposite — to create a house that is directed inward.

As a result of teamwork with the client, we created a house that, at first glance, appears minimalist with echoes of Scandinavian style. However, the complex roof shape and internal atrium made the house very distinctive and recognizable. We complemented this image with the use of industrial materials and, as a result, obtained a highly individual and, in a sense, mystical object on the plain, inspired by the personality of its owner.

This is exactly the case when both the architecture and the interior of the house reflect the originality and creativity of its owner.

The design is based on light textured walls, plenty of warm wood to match the façade, and a wealth of interesting details that invite close inspection. For example, a massive chandelier in the center of the main space emphasizes the sloping roof shape and the house’s architecture.

The common area in the project is a place for gatherings and conversations: filled with air and light at different times of the day, with an emphasis on warm and textured materials. The SPA zone, on the other hand, has lowered ceilings to create a sense of protection, predominantly dark tones, and a heated floor covered with lappato-finish porcelain stoneware.
