Concept

In designing this residence, I was inspired by the Belgian school of architecture and the works of it's brightest representatives, such as Vincent Van Duysen and Axel Wervordt.

This residence is a typical representative of minimalism with laconic forms. However, it has several features of its own: a spa complex on the first floor with access to the pool, a small cozy patio with trees, a magnificent view of the site with a creek, opening from all main rooms of the house through panoramic windows.

Layout

When working on the project, the main idea about was a clear understanding of both the composition of the premises and their interaction with each other. Our client described his vision of the house and premises, as well as his understanding of the orientation of certain premises in a certain direction overlooking the valley with creek inside, so i've developed a layout according to his wishes. At the entrance, the eyes of a person are directed to an internal patio with plants and a nearby staircase. Next to the patio there is a group of cabinets that separates the kitchen and living room areas.

Facades

The exterior of this house is a great example of pure minimalism in architecture. The complex layout is balanced by simple laconic forms of facades. From the side of the entrance, these are predominantly blind concrete and wooden facades, from the side overlooking the bath and the creek, there is a large panoramic glazing. The inner side of the house is sheated with wooden plank and aluminum profile emphasizes the level of glazing.

Recreation Area

In addition to the house itself, we designed a number of additional buildings. On the territory of the site there is a gazebo, which located on a relief near a creek and presented in the form of several volumes. The key idea here is to create a place on an extremely interesting and picturesque site from which an incredible view of the house with unusual architecture, the stream and the beautiful landscape going down will open.
