The renovation project involved a group of trulli and old buildings with dry stone walls, in the countryside of Ceglie Messapica, in Puglia, immersed in a natural garden of olive and fruit trees, bordered by dry stone walls.

The goal was to intervene with a project that respected the place by returning it to its uniqueness and authenticity. The choice of the materials used is in fact strongly linked to the area and local traditions: iron, stone and wood as building materials, white plaster and cement mortar as cladding materials.

The interior design, characterized by the fusion of vintage furniture and contemporary design, with the use of colors and materials such as fabrics with floral motifs, harmonizes perfectly with the rural context, enhancing the original forms typical of these homes. Many of the decorative objects used have been designed and created/made thanks to the support of local artisans.

Il progetto di ristrutturazione ha interessato un gruppo di trulli e vecchie costruzioni con muri in pietra a secco, nella campagna di Ceglie Messapica, in Puglia, immersi in un giardino naturale di ulivi, alberi da frutto, delimitato da muretti a secco.

L'obiettivo è stato quello di intervenire con un progetto che rispettasse il luogo restituendo ad esso il suo carattere di unicità e autenticità. La scelta dei materiali utilizzati, infatti, è fortemente legata al luogo ed alla tradizione: ferro, pietra e legno nei materiali da costruzione, intonaco bianco e malta cementizia nei materiali da rivestimento

L' interior design è caratterizzato dalla contaminazione di arredi d'epoca con design contemporaneo, l’utilizzo dei colori e dei materiali come i tessuti con motivi floreali, si inseriscono pefettamente nel contesto rurale esaltando le forme originali tipiche di queste abitazioni. Molti degli oggetti decorativi inseriti sono stati progettati e realizzati grazie al supporto di artigiani locali.
