ABOUT PROJECT
The "Lines and Air" design project was developed for a young family couple with the main goal of creating an interior that embraces, where one wants to live, and serves as a background for big and small events of this family. During the design process, extensive preparatory work was done by the clients: selecting references, specific layout details. Muttual understanding was achieved during the work, and this is the project where the result exceeded expectations, and the pleasure of the design process was experienced by both sides. Some changes were made to the initial layout. A private block was allocated: a bedroom, a walk-in closet, and a master bathroom. The public area of the apartment is organized into a kitchen-living room and a study. Space was found for a utility-laundry room, and a guest bathroom was added with a shower.
KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM
The color scheme of the interior was dictated by the clients' preferences and the orientation of the rooms to the sunlight. In the evening, warm sunset light fills the entire space. The base, in the form of a milky shade for the walls and ceiling, is complemented by the texture of bleached oak parquet and wall panels, travertine, blue and blue hues in the decor and textiles throughout the apartment's interior.
ENTRANCE HALL
Upon entering the apartment, the gaze falls on a console with arches, and a large mirror near the entrance door looks impressive due to its height and side lighting.
GUEST BATHROOM
In the guest bathroom, WOW STRIPES tiles with a voluminous and smooth surface were used. Microcement finishing is planned for part of the walls. The focal point is a monolithic volume of a ceramic granite washbasin and a large mirror. The U-shaped lighting, integrated into the ceiling and the walls of the niche, is reflected in the mirror, creating an interesting visual effect and providing good lighting so that the reflection in the mirror is always pleasing.
BEDROOM
The starting point for the bedroom was the suspension lamps &tradition Formakami, which brought a touch of Japanese atmosphere. The walls are finished with handcrafted plaster.
MASTER BATHROOM
OFFICE
The home office will be used by two spouses, and it was important to create separate work zones. A desk with an adjustable mechanism allows choosing the most comfortable position for work. One of the objectives for the home office was to create a presentable backdrop for video conferences.
