We are thrilled to share one of our latest projects at Dusk Architecture Studio—a villa in Bali that elegantly combines Wabi-Sabi elements with Mykonos-inspired design. Located on a mountain with sweeping ocean views and surrounded by lush trees, this 2-story villa blends natural beauty with refined simplicity.

UlUWATU SCENERY

The villa features a balanced, linear massing with clean geometric lines that harmonize with its natural surroundings. Designed with an open and airy layout, the structure integrates large glass facades, allowing seamless indoor-outdoor living. The interplay of solid walls and expansive openings creates a dynamic yet cohesive architectural form, while the use of natural textures, such as stone and wood, enhances the villa’s connection to its coastal environment.

VILA 01

Uluwatu is known for its dramatic cliffs, lush greenery, and panoramic ocean views. The area offers a serene coastal atmosphere, with breathtaking sunsets and a deep connection to nature, making it a perfect retreat.

The pool is an elevated infinity design, seamlessly blending with the ocean view. It features built-in lounge seating, a sunken seating area, and natural stone finishes, enhancing the villa’s resort-like ambiance..

GROUND FLOOR

The design follows Wabi-Sabi principles, celebrating simplicity and natural textures. The ground floor features an open-plan layout where the living area, dining area, and kitchen flow together seamlessly. Large sliding doors connect the indoor spaces with the outdoor pool, creating a smooth transition between the interior and the beautiful Balinese surroundings.

FIRST FLOOR

The villa’s bedrooms are designed as private sanctuaries, featuring floor-to-ceiling glass panels that frame stunning ocean views. Natural materials, soft textures, and minimalistic décor create a warm, tranquil ambiance, seamlessly blending luxury with nature.

MASTER BEDROOM

The master bedroom offers a serene retreat, featuring a freestanding bath that opens to breathtaking ocean views. A spacious balcony extends the experience, providing an intimate connection with nature while embracing the villa’s tranquil coastal setting.

SECOND BEDROOM

The second bedroom maintains the villa’s seamless connection to nature with large glass openings that invite in natural light and breathtaking views. Designed with warm, earthy tones and natural materials,

ROOF TOP

The rooftop is designed as an open-air sanctuary, offering a seamless blend of shade and openness. A pergola-style canopy provides filtered sunlight, creating a comfortable lounging space while maintaining a connection to the sky

The outdoor living area features cozy seating, natural wood finishes, and unobstructed panoramic ocean views, making it the perfect spot for relaxation, social gatherings, and sunset watching.
