CONTEXT

This landscape design is driven by a dual-layered concept that reflects both emotion and form.

The Feeling

The emotional narrative behind the design is built around three core values that directly align with the spirit of the client – a major corporation divided into two sub-brands: BoldRoutes and Land & Legends.

Bold: We aimed to reflect boldness and professionalism through strong geometric expressions and high-contrast elements. The design confidently makes a visual statement, echoing the company's authoritative presence.

Vibrant: Led by young innovators and targeting a youth-driven audience, the company inspired us to infuse the space with energy and fluidity. The design fosters movement, life, and engagement – creating a dynamic experience for users.

Legend: To elevate the experience, we introduced monumental sculptural landmarks that provide a sense of grandeur and superiority. These iconic elements serve as anchors in the space, symbolizing the legendary aspirations of the brand.

The Form Expression

The physical form of the landscape is developed using Shape Grammar ideology – a generative design approach that allowed us to create a cohesive and layered environment.

The main landscape utilizes geometric modularity, translating conceptual ideas into physical patterns and paths.

In the backyard, the form blends the shape grammar system with inspiration from oceans and islands, symbolizing the relationship between connection and individuality.

This project doesn't just serve as a corporate landscape – it tells the story of a brand.The feelings of boldness, vitality, and legendary ambition are not just inspirations; they are deeply embedded in the company’s identity – BoldRoutes and Land & Legends – and are physically expressed throughout the design.

The backyard was envisioned as a more fluid and immersive extension of the overall landscape, designed to evoke a sense of calm, exploration, and youthful energy.

Building on the Shape Grammar methodology, the forms were generated through modular rules that allowed for organic yet intentional spatial relationships. These were further inspired by the natural composition of oceans and islands – where open voids contrast with clustered landforms, creating moments of pause, interaction, and discovery.

One of the most meaningful design decisions was to preserve an existing pink tree found on-site. Rather than removing it, we celebrated it as a central feature – using it as a natural focal point that adds vibrancy, color, and emotional depth to the space. The tree now acts as a symbol of continuity and life, reinforcing the "Vibrant" element of the overall concept and connecting users emotionally to the place.

This backyard becomes more than just a recreational space – it becomes a living narrative, shaped by geometry, inspired by nature, and rooted in respect for the existing environment.
