囍桥是上海华山绿地中新增的一座特色构筑物。它轻轻跨过小溪，掩映于树林。既是从城市街道抵达中心草坪的必经流线，也在公园内部创造出一处小型典礼空间。

The Xi Bridge (the Bridge of Happiness) is a newly added signature structure in Huashan Greenland, Shanghai. It lightly spans a stream and nestles within the trees. Serving both as the accessible route from the city street to the central lawn and as a small ceremonial space within the park, it is at once a piece of infrastructure and a place of ritual.

华山绿地位毗邻衡复风貌区和特色商业幸福里，是上海最为浪漫的城市公园之一。长宁区婚姻登记中心也于2026年初搬迁至幸福路。本区域自2025年底展开了一系列点状更新，以开放空间和粉色元素打造“幸福”之路。

Huashan Greenland borders the Former French Concession and the distinctive commercial block Xingfuli (Lane of Happiness) and is among Shanghai’s most romantic urban parks. The Changning District Marriage Registration Center relocated nearby in early 2026. Since late 2025 the area has undergone a series of renewals, creating a “Path of Happiness” through open spaces and pink accents.

囍桥的最早任务书其实要求在园内增设两个构筑物：一座跨过溪流、连接公园栈道和中心大草坪的无障碍步行桥，一座具有甜蜜仪式感可供新人纪念打卡的小亭子。我们将两者合二为一，提供了兼具识别度和集约性的解决方案—一座一体连续的粉色构筑物，既是礼堂塔又是彩虹桥。

The original brief for Xi Bridge requested two additions to the park: an accessible pedestrian bridge crossing the stream to the central lawn, and a small pavilion offering a sweet, ceremonial photo-op for newlyweds. We combined the two into a single, integrated, and efficient solution: a continuous pink structure that is both a tower and a rainbow-like bridge.

塔桥由粉色混凝土现浇而成。桥体轻轻起拱，越过溪流和石块；塔顶向天空开口，投下心形的光斑。塔前的圆形小广场可举办小型典礼，也适宜日常闲坐。混凝土、花岗岩、水洗石以深浅各异的粉色与周围色彩丰富的植被相映成趣。

The tower-bridge is cast in-situ with pink concrete. The deck rises in a gentle arch over the stream and stones; the tower top opens to the sky and projects heart-shaped light patterns below. A circular forecourt in front of the tower functions as a small ceremonial plaza and a comfortable everyday seating area. Concrete, granite, and exposed-aggregate finishes in varying shades of pink harmonize with the park’s richly colored planting.

在方案阶段，我们进行了密集的踏勘和众多桥身长短落位的探讨，以细致考虑对场地既有乔木的最小干预，和结构落桩的最佳位置。在最终几个选项中，由居民代表群策群力确定落地方案。

During schematic design, we carried out intensive site surveys and examined multiple bridge alignments and spans to minimize intervention to existing mature trees and to optimize foundation placement. Resident representatives participated in selecting the final option.

The overall renewal of Huashan Greenland also includes opening the corner of Xingfu Road as a landscaped grand stair, upgrading the pedestrian boardwalk, partially renovating the lawn and planting.

在服务于新人打卡之外，我们更希望囍桥能融于附近居民的日常生活。在每个平凡又美好的日子，孩子在桥上跑来跑去，阿姨凭栏闲聊家常，爱狗人士团坐在广场撸狗，场景自然而然，似乎它已经在场地上存在很久了。

Beyond serving as a wedding photo destination, we intend Xi Bridge to blend into daily life for local residents. On ordinary, beautiful days children run across the bridge, neighbors lean on the railing to chat, dog owners gather in the plaza—scenes that feel as if the structure has been part of the place for years.
