RAMÉ is conceived as a space where architecture, material, and atmosphere come together to tell a quiet story of earth, craft, and permanence. Rooted in the tactile beauty of rammed earth and warm timber, the interior translates natural layers into a refined dining experience that feels both timeless and intimate.

The design is guided by the idea of stratification layers of material, light, and texture that unfold gradually as one moves through the space. Rammed-earth walls anchor the restaurant with a sense of weight and authenticity, their horizontal lines echoing geological formations shaped slowly over time. These surfaces are not merely finishes, but storytellers, expressing stability, warmth, and calm.

Seating arrangements are designed to encourage stillness and comfort. Curved banquettes wrap the interior, fostering a sense of intimacy and continuity, while mid-century–inspired chairs introduce a lighter, more refined rhythm. The transition between bar and dining areas is seamless, reinforcing a cohesive spatial flow rather than defined zones.

The plan of RAMÉ is organized around a clear central axis, with a sculptural island forming the heart of the space and acting as the primary visual and circulation anchor. This element establishes a continuous circulation loop that allows fluid movement around the restaurant.

Perimeter banquette seating defines semi-private dining zones, maximizing seating efficiency while maintaining visual openness. The bar zone is positioned along the main edge of the plan, activating circulation and creating a natural transition between entry, dining, and service areas.

Circulation is structured through a primary loop around the central island, with secondary paths providing access to individual seating zones. This strategy ensures intuitive wayfinding, efficient service flow, and a calm, uninterrupted guest experience.

The floor pattern introduces a subtle dialogue between order and variation. Earth-toned geometric tiles ground the space, guiding movement while quietly reinforcing the layered concept. Handcrafted details, custom millwork, and warm metal accents add moments of refinement without disrupting the overall restraint of the design.
