Faisal Mosque
Situated at the foothills of the Margalla Hills, Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan, is an iconic, contemporarily designed national mosque, the largest in South Asia (6th largest worldwide). Completed in 1986, designed by Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay, inspired by a Bedouin tent, featuring four 90-meter minarets and a massive capacity for up to 250,000+ worshippers.
