沉降之地概念方案丨保加利亚布尔加斯丨UNFORMED DESIGN

沉降之地是在保加利亚布尔加斯举办的”公园3号区——当代艺术与文化空间”国际竞赛中的获胜方案，该方案从145件参赛作品中脱颖而出。项目立足于城市中心一个长期存在的城市虚空地带，该地在当地被称为”洞”，已深深嵌入布尔加斯的集体记忆之中。

Ground of Descent is the winning proposal for the Park Zone 3 – Space for Contemporary Art and Culture international competition in Burgas, Bulgaria, selected among 145 entries. The project is grounded in the powerful presence of a long-standing urban void at the center of the city, locally known as “the hole,” which has become deeply embedded in Burgas’ collective memory.

Rather than filling this absence, the proposal preserves and reinterprets it as a cultural landscape carved within the ground. The design is structured around three interrelated layers that reconnect the city to the void while maintaining its spatial identity.

第一层引入了一系列下沉式的城市介入手法，将周边的城市肌理与场地相连。从特罗伊卡塔广场出发，一座几何花园将既有的城市轴线延伸至一个图案化的景观之中，该景观逐渐下沉至文化层。另一条路径从圣斯特凡诺大道引入，进一步强化了这种联系，将虚空转变为城市日常动线中一个活跃的组成部分。

The first layer introduces a sequence of descending urban gestures that link the surrounding city fabric to the site. From Troikata Square, a geometrical garden extends the existing urban axis into a patterned landscape that gradually descends into the cultural level. A second approach from San Stefano Boulevard reinforces this connection, transforming the void into an active part of the city’s daily movement.

在最底层，文化功能被完全嵌入挖掘范围的边界之内。展览空间、教育设施、艺术家工作室和公共区域被组织成地形中的一系列体量。采光井、下沉庭院和大面积的玻璃开口将自然光引入地下空间，同时框景出裸露的土壤与植被，营造出一种由深度和氛围定义的沉浸式空间体验。

At the lowest level, the cultural program is embedded entirely within the boundaries of the excavation. Exhibition spaces, educational facilities, artists’ studios, and public areas are organized as a series of volumes within the terrain. Light wells, sunken courtyards, and large glazed openings bring natural light into the underground spaces while framing the exposed earth and vegetation, creating an immersive spatial experience defined by depth and atmosphere.

只有部分虚空被建筑占据。剩余的区域则成为一个较低层的公园，为公众集会、活动和展览提供了一个亲切的景观场所。在地面之上，一个紧凑的立方体体量作为该项目唯一可见的结构浮现出来，它作为一个微妙的城市地标，同时保持了水平延展的城市天际线的主导地位。

Only part of the void is occupied by architecture. The remaining area becomes a lower-level park, offering an intimate landscape for public gatherings, events, and exhibitions. Above ground, a compact cubic volume emerges as the project’s only visible structure, acting as a subtle urban landmark while maintaining the dominance of the horizontal cityscape.

该项目采用钢筋混凝土挡土系统与夯土立面相结合的方式建造，呈现出一种层积的构造语言，反映了场地的地质特征。通过这种方式，”沉降之地”将一个被忽视的城市裂隙转变为一处融合了记忆、自然与当代文化的城市景观。

The project is constructed using reinforced concrete retaining systems integrated with rammed-concrete façades, expressing a layered tectonic language that reflects the geological character of the site. Through this approach, Ground of Descent transforms a neglected urban gap into a civic landscape where memory, nature, and contemporary culture converge.
