This project presents a conceptual interior design for a Timberland retail store, inspired by the brand’s strong connection to nature, durability, and outdoor lifestyle. The design translates Timberland’s identity into a contemporary retail space that balances functionality, aesthetics, and brand experience.

Design Concept :

The main concept is based on free organic lines inspired by trees and nature, combined with the raw character of industrial concrete. The spatial organization and circulation follow branching patterns similar to tree roots, creating a dynamic and fluid retail experience.

Nature is not treated as decoration only, but as a core design element that shapes form, structure, and atmosphere.

Materials & Finishes:

The material palette was carefully selected to reflect Timberland’s identity:

Exposed concrete walls and ceilings for an industrial, raw feel

Natural wood finishes to add warmth and balance

Green walls and grass textures to emphasize the connection to nature

Fiber and metal elements for durability and structural expression

Glass surfaces to enhance transparency and visual continuity>

Color Scheme :The palette is inspired by natural elements, combining earthy browns, concrete grey, natural green accents, and neutral black and white tones to reflect the outdoor spirit in a modern retail setting.

Lighting Design :The lighting enhances the space through warm spotlights for product display, track lighting to guide movement, and ambient and accent lighting to create a comfortable and visually engaging shopping experience.

Spatial Design :

The store layout includes:

Clear product display zones

Flexible shelving systems

Tree-inspired structural columns acting as visual focal points

Open circulation paths that guide users naturally through the space.

The aim of this project is to create a retail interior that merges nature with industrial design, providing a unique shopping experience while staying true to Timberland’s brand values.
