Daylight Architectural Visualization

Introduction:

This visualization takes a step back from the dramatic and cinematic styles often seen in archviz. Instead, it focuses on subtlety, balance, and realism presenting the building as it might be experienced on a quiet, ordinary day.

“Instead of chasing dramatic moods, I wanted to capture the architecture in a calm and timeless way, the kind of visualization that highlights design clarity and material honesty.”

1.Modeling & Base Scene

The structure and environment were modelled in 3ds Max, with special attention to clean geometry and scale accuracy.

2. Lighting & Raw Render

Lighting setup was crafted using a combination of HDRI, sun and manual light placements to emphasize Highlights and shadows.

3. Render Elements / Passes

Key render elements extracted for compositing: Wire color, ZDepth, Refraction and Reflection

4. Matte Painting & Post Production

Tools used: Custom brushes, Blending modes (Overlay, Screen, Soft Light, more..)

Photo-bashing techniques

Color grading using Camera Raw filter

5. Final Result & Comparison

Tools Used: 3ds Max, Corona Renderer ,Adobe Photoshop
