A need arose to reconfigure certain areas of an office we had originally designed twenty years earlier. The goal was to incorporate commercial offices and new exhibition spaces for large-format displays—modular panels of 3.20 m or 1.60 m. The upper floor was conceived as a broad canvas where flexibility of uses and spaces had to prevail. The program includes a gathering space, an art exhibition area, and two meeting points with very distinct—yet flexible—characteristics. The meeting space that opens visually toward a contemplative landscape is also an exhibition and catalog area for a wide variety of concealed products. A monochromatic green plane, standing out against the grayscale palette of the rest of the space, hides the wide range of products to be marketed. Furniture was also designed with the same intention: to showcase the potential of the product. Toward the common areas, two glass bubbles appear, organically interrupting a large space that simultaneously functions as a museum. A new living room–style meeting area completes the full programmatic layout. A play of fabrics between this last space and the bubbles highlights both the real and perceived flexibility of the spaces.

On the ground floor, the design is based on a large modular grid following the same panel logic, but in a 1.60 m x 1.60 m format. The “unfinished” morphology and character of the cross-shaped column creates a dialogue with the junctions of the display planes. These planes, whether solid or permeable, generate typological narratives of the product while shaping the visitor’s path. The interior envelope and the structural system have a particular texture and “noise” that seek to highlight, emphasize, and enhance the displayed product.
