Apt. 44 : Delicate simplicity
Renovation of the interior of an apartment with an area of 88 square meters into a warm, cozy space with natural colors and wooden elements. It is located in a scenic area of Kyiv, next to a park area.
The step-by-step process of updating the interior made it necessary to leave the layout without significant changes. The choice of palette revolves around natural steppe tones that unify the space of the apartment.
The hallway creates a modest balance between sophistication and bold ideas. Glossy texture, ash-hued walls, warm wood and graphite metal fill the entrance area. Volumetric cabinets are arranged in a solid column, dissolve in space thanks to the use of hidden doors. The elegant The Musa sconce by Vibia complements the rhythmic order of the facades. A mirror and accent door in graphite lead to the living room.
A large amount of light in the living room is achieved thanks to the white walls. The window, as a decoration of the hall, is framed with a wooden molding in the same color as the walls, so only the relief of the decoration is visible. A soothing feeling of warmth is provided by details such as the plant embroidery on the fabric of the Tumbo Aloe curtains by Kai, the round wooden table Turning, Menu, paintings by Masha Reva.
The peculiarity of kitchen development is the combination of existing kitchen facades with new filling and interior as a whole. Shimmering brass details - the handles are scattered on the kitchen facades, complemented by the pearl reflections of the tiles near the countertop. Above the round dining table is The Bell chandelier. Daylight fills the room through an arch with rounded walls. Near the window is a small table with bar stools in the kitchen's color scheme.
A bedroom with a light and deeply relaxing palette of misty green, the color of rich linen and the warm texture of ash wood. The minimum height and shape of the bed does not overload the space with volume. The light of the Ballet Elance, A Emotional Light chandelier emanates from a hundred holes in its texture, gently covering the interior.
The gray palette of the corridor smoothly flows into the children's room. Filled with playful elements - the Memory ball lamp from Brokis, a tiger rug, a toy house, which are integrated into a neutral space with storage, a library and a desk.
Care was taken to ensure that the apartment creates a beautiful everyday life, with the feeling of a home bathed in sunshine, even when it is not there.
P.S.
The project was implemented before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Decoration and photography were carried out during the martial law period of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Despite air alarms and regular power outages, we try to work, create personal and functional spaces that are timeless.
