Lighting Problem: TentLighting in tents is often inadequate, as there are no fixed lights. Most of the time, only floor lamps are used, which illuminate the space unevenly. This solution feels impractical and uncomfortable, which is why I decided to take a closer look at the issue of tent lighting.

Lichtproblem: ZeltIn Zelten ist die Beleuchtung oft unzureichend, da feste Leuchten fehlen. Meist verwendet man nur Bodenlampen, die den Raum ungleichmäßig ausleuchten. Diese Lösung wirkt unpraktisch und unkomfortabel, weshalb ich mich entschieden habe, das Problem der Zeltbeleuchtung näher zu untersuchen.

Magnet SystemSince there are limited options for attaching a camping lamp in tents, I developed a magnet system. This allows the lamp to be positioned and moved flexibly on the walls and ceiling. It was important to design a form where the two magnets – one on the outside of the tent, one on the inside – hold securely without shifting and losing their magnetic force. A prototype of the system has already been built to test its functionality.

MagnetsystemDa es in Zelten nur wenige Möglichkeiten gibt, eine Campingleuchte zu befestigen, habe ich ein Magnetsystem entwickelt. Damit lässt sich die Leuchte flexibel an Wänden und Decke positionieren und verschieben. Wichtig war, eine Form zu finden, bei der die beiden Magnete – einer außen am Zelt, einer innen – fest zusammenhalten, ohne dass sie sich verschieben und ihre Anziehungskraft verlieren. Ein Prototyp des Systems wurde bereits gebaut, um die Funktionsweise zu testen.

Color and ShapeThe design stands out for its simplicity, appealing colors, and rounded shapes. When choosing the colors, it was particularly important to use bright, attention-grabbing hues, as the lamp has removable parts. This makes these components both clearly visible and easier to locate.

Farbe und FormDas Design überzeugt durch Schlichtheit, ansprechende Farben und abgerundete Formen. Bei der Farbgestaltung war es besonders wichtig, Signalfarben einzusetzen, da die Leuchte über abnehmbare Teile verfügt. So sind diese Komponenten einerseits klar erkennbar und andererseits leichter wiederzufinden.

MaterialThe camping lamp is intended to be made mostly from recycled materials. A key requirement is that it should be very lightweight. The plan is to use recycled plastic.

MaterialDie Campingleuchte soll überwiegend aus recycelten Materialien gefertigt werden. Ein zentrales Kriterium ist ihr geringes Gewicht. Geplant ist die Verwendung von recyceltem Plastik.

Extensions+The lamp is additionally equipped with built-in magnets on the top and bottom, allowing for flexible expansion. A special feature is a stable tripod with an integrated magnet. Furthermore, the camping lamp has a practical clip for easy attachment.

Erweiterungen+Die Leuchte verfügt zusätzlich über eingearbeitete Magnete an Ober- und Unterseite, die eine flexible Erweiterung ermöglichen. Ein besonderes Feature ist ein standfestes Dreibein mit integriertem Magneten. Darüber hinaus ist die Campingleuchte mit einem praktischen Clip ausgestattet, der eine einfache Befestigung ermöglicht.
