SPACE PLANING  I  INTERIOR DESIGN & BUILD

Location Nangang District, Taipei City

這個設計案例的起源很特別。原本的房子有11坪的樓中樓，樓上是睡覺的地方，但高度不足140公分，連站起來都很困難。儘管如此，這個設計陪伴了居住者27年。然而，隨著時間流逝，彎腰行動開始對身體造成壓迫感，因此我們決定釋放整個空間。

我們將不常用的物品收納在高處，例如在衛浴上方設置大廚物櫃放置行李箱。居住者是一位書迷，家中擁有大量書籍，捨不得丟棄，視書籍如珍寶。因此，我們將過道設計為雙面櫃體，方便存放已讀但想保留的書籍，以及不常用但仍想保留的書籍。

同時居住者熱愛大自然，我們在玄關入口的地板磁磚選用了海洋元素，踏上踏階後彷彿置身大地。四周的木皮象徵樹木，進入室內有如置身樹林中。牆面採用仿清水膜的特殊塗料，代表石頭元素，窗簾選用綠色，整體搭配舒適宜人。

這種設計不僅使居住空間更實用舒適，還充分考慮居住者的需求和喜好，讓這個家成為溫暖、自然且功能性兼具的理想居所。

The design case has a unique origin. The original 11-ping loft had a upper floor for sleeping, but with a height of less than 140 cm, standing up was challenging. Despite this, the design served the residents for 27 years. However, the constant bending and stooping eventually took a toll on their bodies, prompting us to open up the entire space.

The resident's love for nature inspired the choice of ocean-themed floor tiles at the entrance, creating an earthy feel. Wood veneer surrounds the area like trees in a forest, while special clear cement-like paint on the walls represents stone elements. Green curtains add to the comfort and harmony of the space.

This design enhances the living space for practicality and comfort while considering residents' needs and preferences, creating a warm, natural, and functional ideal living space.

拆除舊有的裝潢，逐步打造全新的居所。

這個家在業主的前半生中扮演著他在外奮鬥事業的支柱角色；而在後半生中，則成為他放鬆調息的港灣。當我們將室內拆空時，我才發現，原來業主家的天空是如此美麗。能夠靜靜地坐在窗邊看著天空，這樣的感受極度放鬆，讓身心靈都感受到舒暢。

原本窗戶的開啟功能有限，導致室內變得非常悶熱。為了改善這個問題，我們將窗戶改造成兩組可滑動的紗窗，讓室內外的空氣能夠自由流通，為室內帶來清新的空氣和自然的氣息。這樣的設計不僅提升了居住的舒適度，還讓屋主能夠更好地享受與大自然連結的美好時光。

The old decor was demolished as we progressively developed a new residence.

This residence has functioned as a foundational support for the owner's professional endeavors in the initial phase of their life and as a tranquil sanctuary in the subsequent years. Upon decluttering the interior, I was captivated by the exquisite view of the sky from the residence. Contemplating the sky in silence by the window evoked a profound feeling of calmness and contentment.

Previously, the restricted functionality of the windows resulted in a lack of ventilation within the interior space. In response to this challenge, we reconfigured the windows into two sets of sliding screens. This modification facilitated the circulation of fresh air and natural breezes, promoting a seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor environments. The redesign not only improved the overall living conditions but also provided the homeowner with an enhanced opportunity to engage with the tranquil surroundings of nature.
