Second Story & Beyond

The Second Story and Beyond Children's Museum was installed on the second floor of the Rancho Cucamonga Public Library. We designed the small space so that the theme of the museum could be changed out every 6 to 12 months. The museum opend with an outer space theme and then the exhibits were changed out to the "Eat It" theme about food and community shown in these images. Immersive environments are created with silicone-edged graphics that can be easily changed out.

Environmental graphics on the climbing structure can be changed to transform the experience for kids from climbing through a blueberry pie, a tree house, a pirate ship, and a rocket lab,

Instructional graphics featured Spanish, English, and a custom icon to help young children and people who speak other languages quickly understand how to engage with the exhibits.
