别林斯基中央文化与休闲公园丨俄罗斯奔萨丨建筑事务所VESCH!

VESCH!: 俄罗斯奔萨市别林斯基中央公园的复兴项目，被构想为对历史文化景观进行的一次多阶段重塑，旨在集体记忆的保存与现代公共功能的引入之间取得平衡。项目的核心理念是将公园从一个“通行走廊”转变为一个拥有多样化、高品质活动场景的“目的地”。

一期工程重塑了公园的正式入口以及历史悠久的天文馆周边区域。入口广场通过照明塔、作为视觉焦点的大型文字装置以及八边形花坛与喷泉的组合，获得了独特的外观。天文馆的周边景观则微妙地回应了过去世纪的木质凉亭。带有“鳞片”纹样的长椅等小型建筑形式，通过现代材料和可塑性重新诠释了历史母题。

二期工程深入公园内部，聚焦于两种截然不同的氛围。修复后的舞池变身为一个艺术地标，拥有两座高耸的“橡果”形塔楼——这是公园设计中垂直主导元素的罕见案例，却感觉与自然浑然一体。橡果的形态并非偶然：公园拥有数百年历史的橡树，使其成为这一主题自然的建筑延伸。在公园的另一区域，围栏已被橡树叶交织的图案所取代；而在舞池旁，则出现了“橡果-松果”形状的装置，作为垂直方向上的视觉焦点，并呼应了公园的主要树种。

附近的“秘密花园”提供了一个僻静的空间。在这里，建筑让位于氛围。冬季，白雪、蓝色的阴影、金色的灯笼光和色彩明亮的家具共同构成了一幅别具表现力的冬日画卷。公园只是切换到了“冬季图像”模式。

重要的是，二期工程并未用新建筑使公园过载，而是完善了其使用场景。如今的公园已形成一个连贯的系统：拥有正式的入口、活动空间、宁静区域和清晰的导览。

VESCH!: The revitalization of the Belinsky Central Park in Penza is conceived as a multi-phase redevelopment of a historic cultural landscape, balancing the preservation of collective memory with the introduction of new public functions. The project’s core idea is to transform the park from a transit corridor into a destination with diverse, high-quality scenarios for all ages.

Phase One reimagined the park’s formal entrance and the area surrounding the historic planetarium. The entrance square gained a distinct identity with illuminated pylons and a large lettering installation as a focal point, complemented by a composition of octagonal flowerbeds and fountains. The planetarium is now framed by a landscape that subtly references the wooden pavilions of the past century. Small architectural forms, such as benches with a “scale” ornament, reinterpret historical motifs through contemporary materials and plasticity.

Phase Two delves deeper into the park, focusing on two contrasting atmospheres. The restored dance pavilion becomes an art object with two towering “acorn” structures — a rare example of vertical dominants in park design that feel entirely organic. The form of the acorns is no accident: the park is home to centuries-old oaks, making them a natural architectural continuation of this theme. In another part of the park, fencing has been replaced by an intertwining pattern of oak leaves, while here, by the dance floor, “acorn-cones” have appeared as a vertical accent and a reference to the park’s main tree.

Nearby, the “Secret Garden” offers a space for seclusion. Here, architecture gives way to atmosphere. In winter, white snow, blue shadows, golden lantern light, and brightly colored furniture create an entirely different, yet equally expressive, winter landscape. The park simply transitions into a mode of winter graphics.

Importantly, the second phase does not overload the park with new architecture but rather completes its scenarios. The park is now a cohesive system with a formal entrance, an event space, a quiet zone, and clear navigation.
