Project Description

It is my honor to transport you to the heart of the Peloponnese. Imagine a modern-day Acropolis rising above the Aegean: The Megaleios. Perched near the coastal splendor of Porto Heli, this resort offers a seamless, 360-degree panorama of ancient olive groves and the endless blue seas. The Megaleios is more than a destination; it is a magnificent revival of Greek heritage.

Design Concept & Aesthetic

Our mood board reflects a sophisticated Greek Revival interior, emphasizing timeless elegance and monumental grandeur. We have married classical architectural elements—such as fluted Doric columns, marble textures, and the iconic Greek key motif—with modern opulence. The palette utilizes creamy neutrals as a canvas, accented by gold filigree, deep blue velvets, and earthy tones. Every space is curated with refined decorative touches, from classical busts to ornate chandeliers, creating an atmosphere of 'timeless luxury.

Spatial Planning & Accessibility

Moving to our detailed floor plan and 3D renderings, the resort is divided into three primary wings. At the center lies the Great Lobby, acting as the heart of the property. To the left, guests transition to the culinary experience of our restaurant; to the right, they retreat to the sanctuary of the guest suites. It is important to note that the entire resort is fully ADA-compliant, ensuring a barrier-free experience for every guest.

Lobby Layout

As guests pass through the grand entryway—flanked by accessible side doors—they are immediately struck by the soaring scale of the lobby. Sturdy Doric columns and grand chandeliers draw the eye upward, while a blue mosaic fountain serves as a focal point. This water feature mirrors the Aegean outside, instilling an immediate sense of tranquility.

To the left, a curated boutique offers everything from daily essentials such as personal care, baby care, newspaper, magazine, candy to luxury apparel and gifts. The gift shop features an ADA dressing room and has its own storage.

Centrally located, our reception features three ADA-compliant stations to ensure a swift, inclusive check-in process. Behind the desk, a feature wall adorned with the Greek key motif serves as a bold tribute to our heritage. To the right, an intimate bar invites guests to enjoy a welcome cocktail before heading to their rooms.

Rooms Layout

Exiting through the glass partitions, we enter the residential wing, which offers three tiers of luxury:

The Standard Room: A harmonious, open-concept living and sleeping area. Work and dining spaces are positioned near the windows to maximize natural light.

The Luxury Suite: Designed for privacy, this layout features a secluded sleeping nook with direct access to the dressing area and bath. The expansive living area seats five and opens onto a private terrace with panoramic views.

The Business Suite: Our premier offering. This suite features a completely separate master bedroom and a palatial living room. Seating is oriented toward floor-to-ceiling windows, turning the landscape into living art.

All rooms maintain our design DNA: a palette of gold, blue and olive, accented by greek key motifs.

After a restful stay, guests return to the central hub. A sophisticated coffee bar offers a quick espresso for those on the move or a quiet corner for morning reflection. Passing by the piano lounge with seating area, Opposite the café lies our signature restaurant.

Upon entering, guests are greeted at a formal reception and waiting lounge. The dining room opens into a grand hall featuring a variety of seating—from intimate booths in deep velvet red to neoclassical banquettes. The space is a masterclass in Greek Revival design: marble floors, fluted columns, and large-scale art create a dining atmosphere that is both regal and inviting.

Aman Spa

Elevating the resort’s luxury offerings is the Aman Spa, a sanctuary of holistic wellness. As illustrated in our 3D renderings, the journey begins along a dramatic entry path flanked by tranquil reflecting pools, instantly enveloping guests in an atmosphere of profound serenity.

The interior architecture remains faithful to our design DNA, seamlessly integrating the sophisticated palette of Grecian gold, Aegean blue, and olive. Doric columns and intricate coffered ceilings provide a sense of timeless grandeur, while the rhythmic Greek key motif punctuates the space.

Upon reaching the end of the entry path, guests are greeted at a formal reception. From here, they may choose to unwind in the panoramic lounge, savoring a refreshment while enjoying unobstructed views of the Aegean Sea, or transition into the spa’s inner sanctum for world-class saunas, massage therapy, and facial treatments.
