The project is aimed at a young public with a penchant for urban fashion and bold style. bold style.GCDS stands out for its ability to interpret and redefine urban trends. The draws inspiration from a wide range of influences, from contemporary art to 80's and 90's fashion. fashion of the 80s and 90s.
In the 1980s, Venice Beach was much more than just a tourist destination; it was a cultural epicenter where many shared and merged their lifestyles. This crossroads gave rise to a series of trends to a number of era-defining trends, including pop culture and street style. The mix of a laid-back attitude and bold energy created an unparalleled aesthetic in a that combined bohemian and luxury.
Drawing on the brand's principles of celebrating the beauty of uniqueness and creativity, the project is inspired by the vibrant and eclectic Venice beach scene, where surfers and skateboarders dominated the beaches and streets of this iconic location.
The intention of the project is to create an atmosphere reminiscent of this first instance of urban style where surfers and skaters took center stage for the boldness with which they wore their clothes. The layout of the project proposes 3 instances, the first one obeys to a first approach to skateboarding, the second one that alludes to a track and the third one as a transition place between the activity that took place in the tracks and everyday life.
