The new headquarters of DoveVivo in Milan spans over a total area of about 1,500 m², located on the ground and first floor of an early 20th-century industrial building.
The space is functionally divided into three parts: the DoveVivo offices, which occupy the majority of the building; a separate office area, "Coworking DoveVivo", of about 250 m² rented as a co-working space and a "DoveNoi" (transl. "where we are") area on the ground floor, of about 100 m² dedicated to employees.
The project stems from the close collaboration between designers and the client's technical office, which was in turn formed by young architects. Having maintained the distribution of the space and the existing finishes, recently renovated by the same architects, the work was mainly focused on furnishings and refitting.
The focus of the project is to reflect the company’s brand identity and the corporate values into the spacial design. Inspired by the brand and guided by the marketing team, 3 main colors were chosen to appear in the "corporate interiors" like the main boardrooms: red, white and black. The second layer of pastel shades derives from the company's website colors for a much warmer and cozier mood into the workspaces.
DoveVivo workers are young, dynamic and creative highly educated professionals. The newest concepts of collaborative work spaces, has been applied to the office, in the wide open areas and in a vast usage of meeting rooms.
All the office is enriched by the presence of significant amount of plants, following the biophilic design concepts for a healthy work environment, to create a sensation of being in an indoor garden.
A zen room, visually isolated from the rest of the office and filled with comfortable poufs and soft carpets, provides a space specifically designed for brainstorming sessions and informal meetings.
Most of the furniture has been custom designed, including the "small booth homes", which create four acoustically insulated open meeting/focus rooms or the reception that winks to a real residential feeling.
