(Zelal)   Shade Structure and Seating Units  1:1 Scale

Zelal is an academic project carried out by 59 architecture students from Helwan University, transforming an abandoned 180 m² rooftop into a shaded seating area using wood, metal,

and water-resistant fabric.

Executed within one week through full student effort, the rooftop was revitalized into

a vibrant and interactive space for students.

I served as one of the project leaders, overseeing the design, coordination, execution, and material sourcing.
