A Quiet May at Lake Garda

In May 2025, I traveled to Italy’s Lake Garda, just before the rhythm of summer began. The town was still calm—far removed from the vibrant crowds that define the high season—allowing space for slower moments and subtle details.

These images capture a shared summer evening in Sirmione: warm light settling over the harbor, quiet conversations by the water, and narrow streets glowing softly as day turned into night. A brief pause in time, where the city felt intimate, unhurried, and deeply present.
