Location: Geelong, Australia

The location of the project is quite privileged. From the context of exuberant natural beauty, the integration between the building and the landscape was a premise that guided the development of the project. One side of the residence faces the Connewarre Lake and the other faces a local access road. The street façade, which is quite compact, allows the volume of the house to gradually reveal itself, so that the variability of the façade facing the lake is an element of surprise. The brief for this home was to celebrate the client passion for classical Italian architecture and to have wide social and entertainment spaces. Other important aspects were the low impact on the site terrain and a simple and low maintenance landscaping The project also included a renovation of the house’s verandah, façade and redesign of the front fence and driveway.
