冰岛：雪元素丨无明确体现

This is part two of Iceland: the "elements" series: snow

In Iceland you better be prepared: one day you're wearing sunglasses, wondering if you somehow missed the season. The next you're wearing two pairs of trousers, sinking in 50cm of snow and wondering if it was a good idea to do this hike today...

Always fun to follow the first pair of snow prints, guessing that's where the trail is.

Enjoy my little version of Iceland in the snow.

Now that set of footprints disappeared... So you follow the ridge, right? ^^

At the edge of the flats, snow slowly fades away

Even in the mountains, small creeks are starting to thaw

2 days after the snowstorm, the flats are accessible again. Spring is near, but occassionaly winter still fights back, hard

The river is down there, somewhere, past the icefields

In the morning, snow still covers most of the land

The evening shows the days' changes. What tomorrow will bring... maybe another element?
