Introduction:The increasing impact of storm surges on island development in the Polynesian Triangle makes the inclusion of climate-resilient enhancements in the master plan for the coastal zone a factor to be considered. By integrating the physical and spiritual core elements of Samoa into the design of the coastal disaster preparedness, a woven three-horizontal and three-longitudinal coastal strategy can help reduce disaster risk while improving disaster preparedness and promoting the well-being of the ecology and community.
